The Beavers went on a 22-5 run in the second quarter to break the game open and lead 30-14 at halftime. San Juan trimmed the lead to five points late in the third quarter but couldn't get any closer. Fifteen of Beaver's 17 fourth-quarter points came from the foul line. Wes Marshall led the defending champion Beavers with 22 points and Dallen Bradshaw added 19 points. Dallen Adams drilled four three-pointers and finished with 16 points for the Broncos. Beaver plays North Sevier Friday at 7:30 p.m., while San Juan plays South Sevier at 4:10 p.m.
