The Lions led 30-37 after the third quarter and allowed the Warriors to make it closer, but held on for the victory with excellent free-throw shooting. Payson was 19-for-26 from the line for the game. Walynn Burgess made his living from the line, going 12-for-16. He attempted more free throws than the Taylorsville team combined.
