West Jordan's Joel Carter hit a three-pointer with 2.7 seconds left to force overtime, and the Jags hed the Hawks to just two foul shots in the overtime. The Hawks missed three fouls shots in the final 30 seconds of regulation that could have won the game. Carter finished with 12 points, while Brandon Christiansen and Jake Pickering had 11 and 10 points each. JJ Peterson led Alta with 14 points. The defending champion Jags play Davis Saturday at noon for the 5A boys championship.
