In a game that went four overtimes, Lone Peak's magical state tournament run continued as it knocked of Timpview to advance to the finals. Each team had plenty of chances to win the game earlier. Lone Peak's Rick Roberts missed a jumper at the end of regulation; Timpview missed two fouls shots at the end of the first OT and Jeff Bahr missed a 17-footer at the end of the third OT. Roberts, who finished with a team-high 22 points, hit two foul shots at the end of the fourth overtime to give the Knights the four-point margin. Travis Clyde led Timpview with 23 points and Swindlehurst and Ryan Jackson had 13 points each. Ryan Chase and Bahr had 13 points for Lone Peak. The Knights take on Highland at 2:30 p.m. for the 4A state title.
