Northridge (5-1, 12-3) and Davis (6-0, 10-5) entered their Friday night matchup both with undefeated records and sitting together atop the Region 1 standings. But once the smoke cleared from this heated game only Davis' record remained unscathed as a result of their 61-46 win. The Dart's Brody VanBrocklin scored 26 points while Jake Stapp added 14 points and 14 rebounds in the win. Northridge jumped out to an early 12-7 lead in this game, but Davis' defense kicked in after the first quarter and the Darts outscored the Knights 54-34 the rest of the way. Northridge managed to close the scoring margin to within six points in the fourth quarter but Davis slowly pulled away with solid free throw shooting down the stretch.
