Bear River initially surged ahead with three runs in the first inning, but Desert Hills responded, scoring two runs each in the second, third, and fourth innings before adding three in the sixth inning. Harmon Skeen also contributed with a home run, bringing in three RBIs, as Desert Hills amassed 18 hits in the win.
