Salem Hills, ranked 13-13, displayed a dominant 12-run sixth inning to decisively beat Bountiful 16-4 in Game 2 of the 5A Regionals best-of-3 series. Guss Johnson fueled the victory by going 2 for 3, hitting two home runs, and contributing five RBIs, while Colton McGhie added to the offensive firepower with five RBIs of his own. Hudson Malmrose provided a lone offensive highlight for Bountiful, hitting a home run in the bottom of the sixth. With this win coupled with their previous victory, Salem Hills wins the series 2-0 and advances to the 5A Super Regionals next week.
