The Jaguars scored four runs in the first inning, and after Hillcrest’s three-run response in the third inning, West Jordan sealed its victory with two more runs in the fourth and three in the seventh. Tyson Ashworth contributed with a two-hit performance, driving in three runs for the Jaguars. Boston Carrell provided a highlight for Hillcrest with a home run, accounting for all three of the Huskies' runs. Austin Kesler earned the win for West Jordan with three strikeouts.
