Brighton used a late-game surge, scoring three runs in both the fifth and seventh innings, to secure a 6-2 victory over Viewmont in a Region 6 matchup. Oli Pohlman and Bubba Ellis each contributed an RBI, while Mike DiOrio provided a double and an RBI to bolster the Bengals' offense. Mac Gunn impressed on the mound with 11 strikeouts to help mitigate Viewmont's attempt at a rally. Viewmont managed only two runs late in the contest, with Kimball Essig driving in its sole RBI.
