Santa Margarita, Calif., capitalized with a strong middle-inning performance to win 11-1 over Crimson Cliffs in a nonregion game. The Eagles scored four runs in the second inning, followed by two in the third, and kept up the momentum with a run in the fourth and another four in the seventh inning. Crimson Cliffs took an early lead in the first inning, but Cutter Christensen's solo home run was the team's only response to the Eagles' offensive onslaught.
