Orem pulled off a 9-5 victory over Viewmont in a nonregion game. After a quiet start, Orem broke the game open with a seven-run fourth inning. Viewmont attempted a late rally with four runs in the fourth and one in the fifth but couldn't complete the comeback. Luke Jones played a key role in Orem's win with nine strikeouts, while Chase Ford drove in two runs. Viewmont's Boston Williams also stood out by hitting a double and collecting two RBIs.
