In Game 1 of the 6A Super Regionals, Lone Peak (12-14) overcame an early deficit to beat Riverton (17-9) 3-2 in a region contest. Riverton scored both of its runs in the second inning, but Lone Peak's three-run rally in extra innings secured their victory. Grady Slesk of Lone Peak struck out nine as Rocky Downs also struck out nine for Riverton. The victory sets up Lone Peak to potentially complete a series sweep in Game 2 tomorrow.
