No. 5 seed Lehi used a five-run third inning to pull away from No. 4 seed Riverton and win 10-5 in the 6A state tournament at BYU. The Pioneers (19-9) pounded out 14 hits in the victory. Cole Ybarra led Lehi's offensive attack, going 3 for 5 with three RBIs. Cooper Williams went 2 for 4 with a double and two RBIs. Braden Hansen earned the win on the mound for the Pioneers, pitching six innings and allowing six hits and one walk while striking out five. Lehi advances to face top seed American Fork on Tuesday in a winners bracket game at 7 p.m. Riverton will face Syracuse in an elimination game at 1:30 p.m.
