Desert Hills defeated Bear River 9-7 in the 4A state tournament at Salt Lake Community College on Saturday. The Thunder were led offensively by Beau Wall, who went 3-for-4 with a double and two RBIs, and Jace Fillmore, who finished 1-for-3 with 3 RBI's and a homerun. Crew Christensen earned the win on the mound for Desert Hills, pitching 3 innings and striking out four batters.
