Union clinched the 3A championship with a 9-3 victory over Canyon View in Game 2. The Cougars (23-11) broke a 2-2 tie with a six-run fourth inning to pull away from the Falcons (20-11). Camden Frandsen led Union, going 3 for 4 with a double, a triple, and two RBIs. Gannon Labrum and Gavin Roberts each drove in two runs as well. Dylan Watahomigie earned the win on the mound, striking out one batter in the title-clinching performance.
