Kanab rallied for six runs in the bottom of the seventh inning to stun South Sevier 13-12 and capture the 2A state championship. Trailing 12-7 entering their final at-bat, the Cowboys (20-4) strung together seven hits, including RBI singles by Maddix Baird and Griffen Bone, to complete the comeback. Brogen Virostko and Lane Sims each went 2 for 4 with two RBIs for Kanab. Rayce Freeman homered and drove in three runs for the Rams (23-10), who also got three RBIs from Jaggar Redd in the loss.
