Spanish Fork topped Bonneville 9-3 in Game 1 of the 5A Regionals. The Dons (12-13) raced out to a 5-2 lead after the first inning and never looked back. Nixon Warren went 3 for 4 with three doubles to lead Spanish Fork's 13-hit attack. Teigan Scott and Brecken Andersen each drove in two runs, while Will Dart struck out 13 batters to earn the win on the mound. Parker Sorensen doubled twice for the Lakers (9-17) in the loss.
