Gavin Roberts went 4 for 5 with three RBIs as No. 7 seed Union beat No. 2 seed Juab for the second time in three days, this time in an elimination game as the Cougars stayed alive in the 3A state tournament at SLCC. Union trailed 5-3 after three innings, but broke the game open with nine runs in the fourth inning, and then Dylan Watahomig struck out seven batters in the final 2 2/3 innings to make the lead hold up.
