Bountiful edged Viewmont 4-3 in a Region 5 game, led by Tanner Swenson, Krew Nelson, and Zach Webster, who each went 2 for 4 at the plate. The Redhawks (9-12) scored three runs in the fourth inning to take a 3-1 lead and held off a late rally by the Vikings (16-4). Tavis Danner earned the win on the mound for Bountiful, striking out six batters. Kash Kuehne and Krew Nelson each hit an RBI for the Redhawks, who finished with nine hits. Cal Miller and Gage Kortman recorded an extra base hit apiece for Viewmont in the loss.
