Despite the loss, the Bulldogs put up a valiant effort, with some standout performances of their own, but ultimately fell just short of advancing in the tournament. On the San Juan side, Talon Mendoza had an impressive game, going 2 for 2 with 2 RBIs, including a crucial double. With this win, the Broncos keep their hopes alive in the state tournament, and will look to build on this momentum in their next game.
