Cottonwood made quick work of Lone Peak in the 5A championship at UVU by scoring 11 runs on nine hits in additional to capitalizing on six Lone Peak errors for its first state championship since 2008. Cottonwood ace Hayden Rosenkrantz had a terrific outing on the mound only allowing two hits and striking out five for the victory.
