Derrik Fox singled home the game-winning run in the bottom of the eighth as Kanab kept its season alive by rallying past South Sevier for the win in the 2A one-loss bracket. Kanab sent the game into extra innings by scoring four runs in the bottom of the seventh. Fox finished the game 3 for 5 with two runs score and two RBI, while Kason Whitesides went 2 for 6 with three RBI. He also pitched 6 1/3 innings before giving way to Monte Glover in the seventh. Glover recorded the victory on the mound for Kanab.
