After losing its first game on Friday at UVU, Jordan bounced back to clinch the 5A state championship behind a masterful pitching performance from Morgan Gomez. He struck out five and didn't allow a hit after the third inning to pick up the victory. Jordan did most of its damage in the third inning on a solo home run by Mason Krueger and a two-run single by Drew Lisk.
