The cross-town rivals met in Spring Mobile Ballpark to settle who would take the top spot in Region 6 heading into the final week of the regular season. Tyler Hardie hit 3-for-4 on the day and slammed a three-RBI double in the bottom of the sixth inning to deliver Woods Cross the narrow victory. Quentin Foutz earned the win with six strong innings on the mound. Shaden FIsher was called up in the seventh and earned the save for the WIldcats. With the win, Woods Cross took the season series with the Braves, 2-1, and moved into first place in Region 6.
