Nik Mafi smacked a double with the bases loaded in the top of the seventh inning to help lift Maple Mountain to the region. Leading 7-0 after four innings, it looked as if Mountain View was poised to earn its first region win of the year, but Maple Mountain rallied with eight runs over the final three innings to improve to 17-3 overall.
