The Titans, the only Region 1 team to win a game in this year's state tournament, picked up their third victory in the postseason. The Titans scored three runs off of just one hit in the first inning and the lead held up. Erick Lui and Bryce Vanotti each had an RBI for Syracuse, and Jake Hewitt threw a complete game. Hewitt allowed five hits and struck out six.
