Nick Marz accounted for both of the Bengals' runs, crossing the plate on a Zane Smith sacrifice fly to center field and then hitting a sac fly of his own, sending Cole Butcher home in the fifth inning. Chris Conran earned the win for Brighton while Clay Kinahan pitched fantastic for Jordan, striking out eight in the complete-game loss.
