The Mustangs won a state baseball championship for the first time in 10 years by holding off the Flyers. Chandler Smith blasted a three-run homer in the third to give the Mustangs a 5-1 lead. Chance Harmon helped Dixie battle back with a two-run homer in the fourth. Kody Parkinson was the winning pitcher for Mountain Crest, while Tyler Christensen picked up his second save in as many games.
