Gentry Croft went the distance for Timpanogos, giving up five hits, striking out eight and walking five. After Riverton scored five runs in the third on two hits to take a 5-3 lead, the Timberwolves scored one in the bottom half and two in the fifth to regain the lead. Mitch Foster knocked in the game-tying run and Jordan Mehlhoff singled in the game-winning run with two outs. Timpanogos plays for the 5A championship Saturday at 1:30 p.m. at Utah Valley State College.
