Kevin Nay threw six scoreless innings to get the win for Gunnison. He carried a no-hitter to the fifth inning before giving up only the one hit. He struck out 11 and walked two. Taylor Newman led the offense for the defending champs as he had four RBIs. Max Sanders was 3-for-4 with an RBI, and Heston Neal was 1-for-2 with an RBI and two runs scored. Gunnison advances to face Richfield in the winners' bracket finals while South Sevier drops to the one-loss side of the tournament.
