Box Elder advanced to the winners' bracket finals with a dramatic last-at-bat 5-4 win over Mountain Crest. f+bJordan Brinkerhofff-b shut down a Mountain Crest rally in the seventh inning. He entered in relief after f+bCameron Webbf-b tied the game with a two-RBI triple. Brinkerhoff entered and got all three outs stranding Webb. The Bees' Kade Andersen walked and Mike King singled to lead off the seventh setting the plate for Brinkerhoff. He hit the game-winning RBI-double off the right-center field wall. f+bBrady Zimmermanf-b went all seven innings for the Mustangs who move to the one-loss side of the bracket. f+bDanny Nevlingf-b threw six innings for Box Elder and also had a two-run single in the sixth inning putting the Bees in front before the dramatic seventh.
