With the game tied 2-2, the Timberwolves pushed two runs across in the bottom of the sixth to take the lead for good. The two runners reached on a singles, with the first scoring on a ground out to first base by f+bAbe Readf-b and the second crossing on a sacrifce fly by f+bTyson Gonzalesf-b. Lone Peak put two runners in scoring position in the seventh, but T-Wolves pitcher f+bTyson Fordf-b fanned the final two hitters.
