The Darts won a close one, thanks to a strong pitching peformance from f+bCarson Simpsonf-b. The game was scoreless through five, but f+bTravis Francomf-b doubled in the sixth to put runners on second and third. f+bAaron Hedinf-b followed with a two-run single to give Davis all the cushion it needed. Simpson finished the game with 10 strikeouts, allowing just three hits. Francom was the only player on either team to have more than one hit, finishing 2-for-3.
