The Huskies scored two runs in the top of hte eighth inning and then held on for the victory. Hillcrest's Nick Ison started the game, but left with a ribcage injury in the fourth inning. Colt Adams went the remainder of the way for the win. Lee Swingley started for Brighton and Kyle Scogin relieved him in the fifth. Pat Overholt and Tyler Olsen had two hits each for the Bengals. Hillcrest scored a run in the eighth on an RBI single by Matt Hansen and he later scored on an error in the Bengal outfield. Hillcrest plays Taylorsville at 4:30 p.m. Thursday at Lindquist Field. Brighton plays Bingham at 4 p.m. Wednesday at Lindquist Field.
