The Tigers fell behind 3-0 in the third inning, but Orem relief pitcher Martin Heimuli came in and settled things down with eight strikeouts. That set the stage for Thomas, whose homer sparked a six-run fifth inning. The win improved Orem's record to 8-6, while dropping Payson to 3-9.
